Reuters – Finance company GMAC said on Wednesday
it is exploring the sale of parts of its troubled
mortgage-lending arm, Residential Capital LLC, and the purchase
of a non-U.S. mortgage lender, which sources said was the UK’s
Northern Rock Plc .
