What Should Do Common Real Estate Investors And Taxi Taxi Driver?

Before I get any e-mails in questioning my sanity, please give me a moment to tell you what real estate investors and taxi taxi drivers should have in common. When I lived in England in the early 1980′s while serving in the air force I had the opportunity to find a friendship with a local taxi driver. What I learned from him not only real estate served investing in me, but investment in General. He picked me up from base one day and took me to the local village, where I had lunch at the local pub with some of my friends. When I I paid reached my goal for my fare and the cab, and he ended the time that I turned to thank – over!


I really much don’t think I forgot quite a bit about it in fact only in the following week, when I needed to move the next village. I called the local taxi company and applied for a ride. When the cabin came and I am surprised that I had the same taxi driver, a week before showed to me on my Trek take! When I entered the cab and settled in for the ride, I struck up a conversation with the taxi driver and politely asked why it was so hurry during my recent trip? He said, that he taxi drivers for the past the top producing three years for his company was carried out and it was his goal in the next 5 years to retire go! He further explained that he would be able to retire, because he mad 4 times which made the other taxi drivers on a weekly basis. I asked him why he so much more then made his colleagues regularly; what he said is something I plan applied to my investment, since CAB he said that day in the…. “It’s all in the drop-meter”!


I asked him to explain, he means that while other taxi drivers outside locations of the air force base turn small rates sit and wait on them big money fares to London 75 miles away would, would he several small fares take them over and over again. When it came at the end of the day would he make 4 times what would make the “great price” guys, because he drop the counter for the smaller prizes was ready. So what have to do with real estate investing? It has to actually do a lot! I have my 25 years many investors invest walk from transactions because it is not enough money in the business for them was – that crazy or what? I say to these types of investors send me all “scratching their”; I will do them all day.
Therefore I am today I bring? I am trying to ensure my success in a difficult economy I? No, rather I am trying to help people, to adopt, which has served me well over the years the philosophy. Mainly, stop looking for big hit and I call “kibble and bits” strategy at the Center!


Why would you log on to the market without any guarantee, to sell the property for a profit on the dotted line for hundreds of thousands of dollars for a property in one down? Why no risk not assignments, in the event that you can get rid of the property not? Would you make happy 3-7 thousand dollars for only your contract on someone assign, and then move to the next transaction? Let us be very conservative here, 2 these types of transactions per month could do? If so, that would be 6 K on the low side and 14 K or more at the top for a few hours, but then several hours on a traditional transaction with no guarantee of a good payday – sound good to you? Well, that’s what assignments you can do; many investors do in fact seed capital for their other RE transactions to increase this.
