The economy is going to get worse. The real estate market is taking a dive again. This is after the gobblement infused over $4 TRILLION dollars to keep real estate values up. And from past experience – we know that wherever the RE market goes – so goes the economy.

The HVCC passed becasue of the problems with fruad in the real estate market. Because of the past real estate practices making the “deal” work many Americans bought homes they really couldn't afford. I understand it makes it more difficult for the appraisers they will now work for the “lender” not by the mortage broker it will protect the consumer and improve confindence in the long run.

[Palm Bay a town that no one has heard of but which had over 100,000 people. Many of them crack dealers and drug lords. Our police department has a West of us is swamp and east of us is ocean. North of us is Melbourne and south of us are many Mexicans (not as in Mexico, but as in where many a fruit and tomato are grown and where you can eat some delicious frogs legs at Marsh Landing where Mexicans are welcome.) Now that the real estate market is in the dumper, I'm stuck in Palm Bay unless I want to eat the downside portion of my mortgage! Oh, about a decade ago, an [elephant went crazy at a traveling Some of Palm Bay's finest pumped a couple hundred rounds of gun shot in it before bringing it down. We eat things like that down here, but alas the animal was taken away for an autopsy, which strikes me as funny since the cause of death was obviously lead poisoning. Also about 20 years ago, a man named [William Cruse went nuts and started shooting All joking aside, that was a sad day. He killed about 6 cops which for Palm Bay was a big percentage of the force when it happened. He started at a Winn Dixie, then cross the street and holed up on a Publix freezer, where he did the rest of his dirty business. I installed a bunch of computer that were used to take depositions that day. Still, I have friends here whom I love and a great church, so I'll be hanging around for a while. Was this the kind of stuff you were looking for?

Learn the difference between "freedom" and "license." Freedom doesn't mean the ability to do whatever you want. No, the free market will not enable you to walk through walls, OK?

Freedom, in terms of a free market, means that people can engage in voluntary commerce without intrusion from a third party. So, if I want to make some popcorn with coconut oil, I can do that without some idiot Obama bureaucrat telling me it's going to give me heart disease and telling me I can't buy it.

The free market principles of the United States of America from 1789 to 1932 lead to the greatest expansion of human prosperity in written history.

By contrast, the "nanny state" regulatory government we have today has enabled unemployment to stay fixed at 10% despite the redistribution of a trillion dollars of wealth. That is really saying something!

Alex,

Read your written agreement with the real estate agent carefully. You will see that he is protected to the "9s". Also, real estate records are public, so anyone can find out who owns whatever.

In addition, the mortgage documents are liens. Thus, they are public records as well, so the real estate agent can see who the lender is and the borrower is.

Trust me, within one week of closing on the deal, you would be sued for the 3%, and you'd have to pay it.
