Real Estate Market | Is Your Listing Agent Helping Or Hurting Your Home Sale?

Hiring a listing agent to help you sell your home is important in the Boise real estate market, and choosing that listing agent is key to getting your home sold. Far too many real estate agents in Boise list homes with the express purpose of “double ending”, or representing both the seller and the buyer to earn both commissions, the transaction.

When do you think this Real Estate market will go back in a positive direction? Or is it still too early to tell? We are seeing a lot of housing foreclosures in Lake Mary Florida. What about you? Would love to get your feedback on this.

If you are already an agent, you SHOULD know the answer to this. if you don't, then you really should get out of the business. If you can't actually show value for your services, how would you make money.

If you are not a licensed salesperson, you are not able to open a brokerage without first being a broker, which usually requires you being a salesperson under a licensed broker for several years. Check your states requirement.

We will not see that for awhile.

It is caused by a shortage of housing. We have a surplus presently.

Some people still sell privately go to

Being a real estate agent you may think I am being a little bias, but… Using an agent is the safest way to sell your home. Some people believe that by selling their home privately that they will be better off because they don't have to pay a commission, Selling a house is not as simple as putting up a for sale sign board out the front of your house. Most agents will have a large network of "HOT" buyers who they have constant contact with, without an Agent you will not gain access to these buyers. Also remember that real estate agents are professional negotiators and are able to achieve a higher price then the average seller they can show the buyer more homes and in turn justify why the buyer should pay a certain price for a house.
Also most serious buyers make contact with an agent to be kept up to date with all of the new listings coming onto the market to take the hard work out of looking.
Another reason people should use an agent is the fact that they are familiar with market trends, area prices and property law.
Agents are there to help purchasers and Vendors through the entire sales process, including pest inspections, building inspections, dealing with finance brokers, cooling of periods, settlements etc.
