IBD’s Top 10 – Wednesday (Investor’s Business Daily)
Investor’s Business Daily – 1 The plunging dollar, subprime woes and some poor earnings pushed the S&P 500 down 2.9%, closing below its 200-day line. The NYSE composite and Nasdaq fell 2.7%. The Dow lost 2.6%. Volume rose on the NYSE and Nasdaq. Fin’l stocks led the market lower. The 10-year T-yield fell 4 ticks to 4.34% while the 2-year rate fell to a 2-year low.
